This project is based on the idea of a box constructed with material sincerity and a clear commitment to brutalist minimalism. The house is shown as it is: a concrete beam is left exposed, load-bearing walls are left unfinished, and everything that forms part of the structure is expressed without ornaments or embellishments.
This box, however, is hollowed out at certain points, creating interior courtyards and unique spaces that break the compactness of the volume and offer a new geometric reading.
The voids not only articulate the space and improve the relationship between interior and exterior, but they also introduce a change in materiality: where the box opens, different textures and shades appear, always maintaining the brutalist coherence and the constructive essence of the project.
