This house originates from its location, a privileged space with 180° views of the entire La Molina valley. The concept of the project is based on maximizing the main program’s enjoyment of these views.
To achieve this, the ground floor is organized in the shape of a cross, maximizing the views toward the valley. Furthermore, to further strengthen the connection with the outdoors, the cross opens up, creating a “floating” porch, which not only defines the architectural identity of the house but also allows for outdoor enjoyment nearly all year round.
On the upper floor, a volume appears to float above this structure, accentuating the views from the master suite and offering a sense of lightness, as if the room were floating in the middle of the valley.
