The concept of this project is based on the creation of two single-family homes for sale on a plot originally intended for a single residence. Therefore, both the division of the plot and the design of the homes are guided by the idea of similarity through kinship.
These two houses share the same origin: they come from the same plot and were designed by the same architecture studio. However, the result is two distinct homes. The goal was to design two houses that maintain an aesthetic and conceptual relationship, sharing a common language and similar elements, but with completely different forms and placements, despite having the same functional program.
The architectural language is based on the creation of solid main walls, which always remain as strong, defining elements. Depending on their position and the rhythm in which they are arranged, different shapes emerge, yet they always follow the same architectural language.
The result is two cousin houses: their shared origin is evident, yet each has been conceived independently.
