his project is born from reflection. It is an architectural exercise that seeks to question existence, matter, and, ultimately, our own condition as a society. Everything is debate, everything is learning.
With KANTAURI ITSASOA, we aim to create a place of encounter and controversy — a space where people pause, reflect, and share questions.
Like a temporary market or an open-air concert, the pavilion inserts itself into the space without altering its uses, embracing the movement and memory of the place.
Its spiral form—growing and enveloping—aims to capture the user, surround them, and lead them into a sensory and critical experience.
Built with sea salt, the material degrades over time, directly expressing the fragility of the world and the urgency of the climate crisis.
